No more excuse!! Changing my diet for the best?

Come January 1st, 2019, I will be consuming no meat and no products made from animals with, the exception of honey. I have been really back and forth with Veganism for the past year or so and, I think it’s high time I choose the path I want to take. Why January? One word ” Christmas!”.

I don’t want to call myself a Vegan. Veganism, I believe, is focused more on ethics and the environment than on nourishment. While I commend that, I find that I am not interested in being a part of the community, here’s why,

Acne Story

I have been battling a new type of acne (for me) that have rocked my life for the past couple of months. I have never had this type of acne before and let me tell you, it took a toll on me mentally.

I was afraid to go out and engage in face to face conversations or, look at myself in the mirror. Every morning I would touch my face, hoping, No! Praying it was healed, that a miracle happened in the night.

The mirror was my best friend, although I hated looking into it……. Oohh the irony. Every second I looked at and squeezed my bumps, making a bad situation worse. I spent a lot of money on acne products (which I don’t usually buy, natural was always the way for me) and nothing was working!

Be Productive, Not Busy

Now, Ever since my last post, “how to get your goals back on track” things have been flowing but another issue has come up. I have been extremely busy but, not productive. At the end of the day, I am so exhausted. In my mind I got sh*t done, but in reality, when I do my weekly review, I realize I barely got the important stuff done. You ever got so busy, then feel so overwhelmed that you end up taking long naps, eat or watch tv just to take the stress off your mind? Yup, That was me.

How to get back on track with your goals

I have been in limbo for some time now, although I am working and I know my goals, sometimes, I go through a moment of overwhelming confusion. I would pretend as if I have everything together but the truth is I’m lost as f**k. This lasted for months.
